corona is spreading 5g technology? what did the cellular operators association of india say?

5G technology is one of the possible causes of respiratory problems and the spread of COVID-19 - if someone tells you this or if you get a message saying this, be careful not to believe them. These words are completely baseless, false and misleading. At present, such news is being found on social media. The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), a representative body of the Indian

telecommunications industry, on Friday pleaded with all citizens not to be affected by the news.
"We make it clear that these rumors are completely false. We urge the public not to be influenced by such baseless misinformation. Several countries around the world already have 5G networks," COẠI Director General Dr. SP Kochhar (Lt. Gen.) said in a recent statement.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has made it clear that there is no connection between 5G technology and Covid-19. "I urge all citizens to beware of these false messages. Only if we all work together to stop this kind of news will stop spreading."

The DoT (Department of Telecommunications) has recently allowed Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea and state-owned MTNL to launch 5G trials in the country. However, it should be noted that the auction of 5G spectrum has been postponed to the first quarter of 2022 instead of this year due to the dire situation of the second corona infection in India.

In the past, the World Health Organization (WHO) has repeatedly stated that exposure to wireless technology has nothing to do with adverse health effects. However, this did not deter citizens of various countries, such as the United Kingdom, from burning down 5G towers due to misinformation obtained online. People set fire to 5G mobile towers as a result of a similar misleading campaign in the UK at the beginning of the Kovid epidemic.

Such false news and unscientific claims made life difficult for UK telecom operators. Because not only did they have to fight these false rumors, they also had to rebuild the broken towers to keep the telecommunications system in order. Even in the United States, there are many anti-5G technology groups that mislead people by spreading misinformation on social media.
