At the end of the year, WhatsApp stopped their support for a few phones. Recently, WhatsApp has posted a post on their blog. That blog says that WhatsApp support was lifted from the old models of Windows Phone in 2016. This will stop WhatsApp Supports on all Windows phones from December 31, 2019. There are ten Windows phones in it. In addition to Windows Phone, the company has announced the expiry date of Android and OS phones.
Android and OS will stop calling WhatsApp Support:
WhatsApp has written to their blog post that their support will be discontinued on some Android and OS phones from February 2020. What phones Android still has 2.3.7 versions of WhatsApp will no longer work. Again iOS 7 version or old version will not be provided with WhatsApp Support. The company said "We are not developing any of these platforms. Any features from these platforms can be stopped at any time. After the support is closed, new features, bug fixes and updates will not be available on these phones.
Windows 10 will not be closed on PC Support:
But keep in mind that WhatsApp support will not be closed on Windows 10 PC. In some reports, the company has been developing the WhatsApp UW app to make WhatsApp Experience better for Windows 10 PCs. Although we do not have any information about when this application will come in Prior to that, BlackBerry, Nokia S40, Nokia S60, was discontinued.
