220 million Facebook accounts are deleted, the reason to know

                                   

AMZOSHOPS:   World's largest social media, Facebook has deleted 2.2 billion accounts. This is one of the first deleted accounts in Facebook history. The company said that these accounts were fake. Keeping in mind that the company had earlier deleted 1.2 billion Facebook accounts from October to December.

Facebook has recently published an infomation report, where the steps taken by Facebook from October 2018 to March 2019 are mentioned. It has been known that Facebook has deleted accounts and posts in this period. In the last three months, the company has deleted 2.2 billion fake accounts and posts.

Facebook estimates that 5% of those who are active in 2.4 billion people are in fact fake. That means about 119 million phak accounts are active on Facebook. This number was 3 to 4% in the last report.

Facebook reported that they removed approximately 7.3 million posts, videos and other platform content. These posts were removed mainly due to violation of Facebook post rules and spreading violent messages. The number of such posts in the last few months was 5.4 million, which increased to 7.3 million now.
